I think is some cases yes cus it depends on the individuals involved. Some people, men or women, have a hard time when the other person has a higher position or makes more money then they do. So some times it does. For me, I would encourage any gal I was who wanted to break the "ceiling", to go as high up the ladder as she wants as she is happy with what she does, I could give a rat's ass and wouldn't have any bearing on the relationship or me.

It all depends on what kind of people they are I guess, but thats with any relationship.
