Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I think that if that even comes into consideration, you are doomed from the start.
With the father of my first two, we were both young and I was not in management during that time and he was a blue collar worker. No problem EXCEPT, I had bigger visions/ambition for my career desires. He did not. My work ethic opened doors. My home life beat me down. The strong will prevailed.
Since then, I made sure that the next endeavor would compliment and have similarities when it comes to career successes and/or driven for results. My ex is a genious in his career. I am in awe of his abilities and learned so much from him. At home, it was a disaster...we got along better in the workplace whereas at home, his personality was completely different. We were not a match after all.
Two different scenarios with a common deficit....BALANCE.
Now, I'm alone but, I'm the only female manager in a highly male dominated environment. I am respected as I also bring things to the table. At home, I am a mother and someday, something to someone but, with my lessons in tote.
TADA!
(taking notes)
I'd be VERY careful with correlating (perceived) success and a white collar job with intelligence.
I know a lot of pretty big fucking morons who are very successful in their white collar jobs. Timing and connections can be everything.
Just sayin'.
Dab: LOL, you are so fucking right!!
They make me want to.......(explicit material)
