they end up with these horrible people, get hurt, abused, mistreated. Then, a nice girl comes along too late. He then does the same to her instead of treating her the way she should be, the way he tried to treat the horrible ones. She then gets all the s**t he was given, when she deserves better.

I work a second job at UPS, since 1994. It's part-time, but I got hurt for the first time six weeks ago. A tendon in my finger got screwed and is still not back to normal. I've been doing light duty, but decided to go in main office to talk about my injury. I didn't report it, by the way, because I am nice. Well I asked them if they wanted me to return to normal duty (heavy lifting), and they said yes. They told me that I have been there a long time and they will consider moving me to the light duty place later on...I said OK and went back downstairs. My finger hurts like shit right now, because I was too nice.

I was a dick to wife, though...and nice to her...

verukas...it sounds like a cycle of abuse and does not necessarily mean that every situation, or person will be like your experience...it sounds like you want a bad guy, though...since you hate nice guys...

I dont know either, but sometimes it seems they end up nowhere compared to those that are not so nice or just out for or talk about only one thing.

Most people think of me as a "Nice Guy" with a "Bad Boy" edge. Unpredictable, but sincere and reliable. Painfully honest to a fault. I know all these things may seem contrary, but it's just the way it is. I know I may not appeal to some out there, but isn't that true for all of us.

I'd like a nice guy.... *cries* Where are all the nice guys??

rman, you need to learn to stick up for yourself though. it's one thing to be nice, it's another to be taken advantage of.

no, i love nice guys. it just seems that some nice people are so hurt that they take it out on other nice people. They can not get through their hurt from past relationships to enjoy what they could have with someone else.
they have become jaded.
i was married to a monster. i want a nice guy. please believe me on that one.

I believe you, verukas...it's just hard to disassociate yourself with bad experiences. I could easily say women suck, 'cause I got screwed over by a few, but I have the hots for that wife on the George Lopez show...'cause i'm only 18...

I hope I didn't offend anyone. I was just venting because I dated someone that was a "nice" guy. He treated his exes like queens, and they mistreated him. When I came along, he couldn't trust me or open up to me, too jaded by the paat.
again, I am sorry.
