Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I'm sorry about your divorce... I personally would like to entertain the idea of being alone forever. My biggest fear is having heart break all over again. I really could not do this one more time :( it's just so sad when the person is gone
This link is not from MSN, but still talks about fake compatibility testing Okcupid uses
Anyways, I will suggest your don't turn away from using dating sites but do not put too much work or time into them - don't be negative but don't expect too much either. Many of the people on dating sites have been on them for a while and have become chronic daters - don't want to scare you - only a heads up. Be careful, ask the right questions and take your time.
Many say dating sites aren't a good place to meet ppl but unfortunately it's the shape the world has taken - you are either okay and learn to use them or wait for someone to shop up at your door - if you aren't comfortable with them, Meetup.com I hear is also a good tool - I used that as well but those groups have way more women than men in them. OkCupid and POF are the worst sites - they are free. Match it's somewhat better but in the end, is not the source, it's people in general and these days people SUK!
#13 - that's what I am talking about - we can't be against something, we have to try it and go from there - again, dating sites are just a tool and the one most commonly use these days - we are no longer meeting ppl at church, work, etc - if we don't use sites like match.com we are decreasing our chances. I just warn people to have thick skin and be cautious - but everything in life is about taking chances. So happy for you - : )
