My X Husband actually truly believed he should be able to be with me and our 2 sons when he felt like it and that I should just turn my head and let him cheat willy nilly whenever he felt like it.

Initially he said I wouldn't have to work I could just be a stay at home (which is what I'd always wanted) but then that didn't work. Then he actually had the nerve to change it the last time he brought this up and say Id still have to wrok while he behaves like the TRASH he is!!!!!

What's more is he's with a woman now that allows him to do just that and to top it off he doesn't even work with her!!!

He told me: "we would be having this discussion (about affair - him making a choice) if he was a Moslem... " What a jackass! My Moslem friends don't treat their wives the way he did me. Another F***ing idiot who thinks life is solely about sexual opportunity.

There are TONS of things- but during the last 2 days before he left, there were quite a few discussions/ tearful pleas for him to stop seeing the OW and attend counseling with me. As he left he said with all seriousness, "Thanks for making these last 2 days hell for me".
He also believes he is a visionary, and that should there ever me a nuclear war- he'd be a leader among men that need to see new, better ways. Ughh- more problems there than just the NPD ;)

He couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror or anything that had a reflection. He constantly worried about his looks, his grooming, the focus had to be on him. He was never very warm and engaging with the children but, it was always about what made him feel comfortable...his infidelity fed his hunger for constant attention. No excuses and not acceptable. He also has OCD, ADD and looking at the big picture....I WAS BUSY taking on all his needs, the children's, needs, the home and my full time demanding career. It was never about me. Never again. Eyes wide open.

You know, it's not looking in the mirror that was bad- that's just an external symptom. It's the behavior of always putting yourself first, a sense of entitlement, and lack of empathy that are the main things. Most people with NPD go undiagnosed as they wouldn't go to therapy in the first place. Why are you posting on this thread v00d00 if not to be supportive? I am not diagnosing you as I don't know you, but wow, talk about a lack of empathy here.

I just find that every Virgo I know is constantly looking in the mirror.
My mother, my cousin, my son. I find it annoying when I'm talking to them and they are admiring themselves.
