Me and husband talked.
It we both agree for legal separation.
We still have alot of property under both our name, debt, financial, and with covid and our kids doing distance learning it was best for him to stay in the home. I was staying away from social media and have been in contact with my attorney the past couple days getting all the stuff etc etc. We both are continuing to do our individual counseling and he can get his help n i can get my own help to focus on ourself.
We move his stuff out of our room to another room in the home.
Ive been doing alot more selfcare. Still reading and writing. Working out at home now. My counselor recommend me to do some hiking or outdoor to feel nature. So i have a small hiking trip with a relative tomorrow. Just me n her.
Just trying to sit with myself. "What i want, what my worth is. Who am i? " I been reading and writing and have come to alot of awareness. There were people along the way that really help contribute also. DS is one of them.
Your happiness is worthy enough to fight for. I dont think no age in time should stop you, its never too late. I chose me. I dont think its selfish. This is my truth.
I hope all is well for those going through tough times also. If you just want to chat, talk, or just need a friend to listen. Im here. We all can get through it together.
Days has been slow for me. But im taking it small steps at a time.
Love.Hugs

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Life is good.
God Bless
My kids are to young to understand and one does nt have the capabilty to understand this situation. We both know if the question comes us then we will explain.
My parents are also those type that will not understand either. Complicated.
Getting outside and hiking is great! One of my favorite things to do. I often prefer to be alone while hiking, too.
I divorced in 2015 and it was a really rough year. There have been ups and downs since then, and believe me I struggled at first. But now things are good! And I feel like the divorce, in the long run, has improved my life (even though it wasn't my decision). I say all this just to give you positive thoughts about your future. You will get over this. You will move on. And you will have a good life!
One other thought: legal separation? Ask yourself what the purpose of that is? Is there any rational reason to do that rather than divorce? Is your husband still interested at all in trying to work things out? I was interested in working on my marriage, but once my ex-wife told me she wanted a divorce my mind flipped instantly to divorce. There is no point in trying to mend things with someone who is not interested.
Hang in there, and good luck!
Just my guess of why she has to do it this way.
