And we all own our own choices. And we only hurt ourselves and our children when we don't.
It really doesn't matter what anyone else says or thinks. My ex can say it's all 'my' fault, I can say it's all his; but no one else is really going to care. But the past is all water under the bridge, it's how we carry ourselves forward that we have control over.
It is our fault they get pregnant - no really YOU did not get me pregnant!!
It is our fault they get low self esteem - nope, I'm low on oil though
It is our fault they are not living like princess - Lives in a dungeon/check, husband is a dragon/check, has a cursed marriage/double check.....Yep Living like a Princess!!
It is our fault for every thing. - Oh and for global warming too
I find men that can open up to be very intriguing because they are like a masterpiece book. Their book that expresses so many things. The closed books...not so much. Open expression is a step forward for any one male and female. I am learning to be more outward because when you are a 'victim', you are programmed to be silent. Some men are programmed that they are not to show emotion because it is not masculine...
Great thread Rbutt!
If flight is not an option for the frightened ones then attacking whatever is scaring you is the second choice.

There are women out there that are looking for a man that can express themselves, this doesn't mean just the pissed off/mad part either.
I never understood this macho ego trip that guys have to keep it all in and can't share with other people how they feel.
Let it out at times, it's not going to kill you.
Rate me .... the cool part is, i don't bother to look at the scores because I'm the one that has to deal with the outcome of my actions.
Most guys don't open up. I glad you and others who share this board have the courage to. Most guys don't talk about things. I don't understand that. Is it avoidance or mistrust? What is the bigest problem with men and women I believe it is the lack of communication. Good and bad it must come out. The question is how do you get all your feelings out. My "x" said all questions have yes or no answers. He'd give me the answer he wanted. Would never even listen to me. He wanted to hear what he wanted.
I started not to answer him if I didn't agree. he said how stupid could i be because I couldn't answer a simple direct yes or no question. If I tried to get him to see my point he would just get angry. And of course it was my fault.
i truly believe someone who listens and shares makes thngs a lot easier.
