I could honestly give a shit less what other men think when I'm going through a crisis, unless of course they understand. If they see me cry and think I'm a pussy, fuck them, I don't need their macho bullshit anyway. It takes more strength to show your emotions than to hide them like you're some invincible bad ass.
By the way, the Bears aren't that bad, they just got dominated by Green Bay's awesome defense. I would have shit my pants too if I was Cutler.

Another thing I learned (I've learned on DS I ain't that bright) is that you are stronger if you need to ask for help than you are if you just passively sit there.

I believe when men talk about their feelings that it shows great strength. We are all human and we have feelings. Women tend to experss them more but I think men should too. I work all day with men but very rarely they talk about their feelings. I wish they would. We all strugle. We all need to be able to be open and honest and not hide behind sterotypes.

Divorce totally cured me of caring what other people think.

I don't know why, but as I look back, almost Every single bad decision I have ever made had, at it's root, caring too much about other people's opinion.

Now I care about my own.

That sounds self centered. But hey, I have to live with myself 24/7, and I'm better off liking myself. There was a time when depression and helplessness seemed to take over....no more. And I don't need anyone to "save" me, because I'm happy with myself. Life still isn't perfect, but I can live with the imperfections.

Oh well, this sleep deprived mind, may not be making much sense. I wish everyone the peace that I've found.

The thing I feel about it is why am I going through all this turmoil for something that when it is finally over will not mean a pile of poo to me. That makes me think it is all wasted energy. But here I learned that it is some "process" that we all have to go through to get through to the other side. We are supposed to be transformed into our higher selves after this.
