4 days ago the man who claimed to loved me sent me a text saying "Good luck, I'm out". I was left speechless and heartbroken

We were together for 3 years. I’m a widow and moving forward has been difficult. His intentions were to get married and fix his legal status in the country. When he asked me to marry him and his true intentions. I asked him that I will only marry for love not convince and that’s when he texted me “I’m out”

I'm sorry he did this to you. You were right to not marry him just so he can stay in this country. And as soon as you said anything at all about it, he leaves. That shows what his true intentions were.

You are better off without him. Yes, it's going to hurt. But in the long run, you wouldn't want to be with a guy who just leaves suddenly. He had other motives for getting in a relationship.... citizenship. Sounds like he would say or do anything to get that citizenship. I hope there wasn't money involved?

You didn't know. He probably said all the right things. It's not your fault. Better to be done with it now than done with it later on, after you invest even more years with this guy.

Yeah I would run the opposite direction. Fixing legal status issues in countries just muddies the waters as far as why you are in a relationship in the first place.

    I'm horrified!  I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000.  I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter.  I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change.  Now this!  I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.  I guess I have to pay...
