My wife and i have been together for 12 years and married for 6. up until a year or so ago there wasn't even a single argument. if we disagreed we sat and talked about it found a solution and moved forward. then we started arguing. nothing bad just normal stuff and short lived at best. but for the last 6 months it's constant and she makss comments about me not ever doing anything. but i'm the one that takes the kids when they need to go somewhere or need to be picked up. i coo most of the dinners and do a bunch of the cleaning duties. but because one things may not be done the assumption is that i'm doing nothing. This week she told me that she was done and wanted to end the marriage. she is moving out and going to her parents.

Could you ask her if she would consider marriage counseling?

This sounds odd to me. That she would want to end the marriage for the reason she is saying. Are you sure there isn't something else going on in the last 6 months, such as possibly her talking to another person? Just wondering.

we have been doing that for the last 2 months. actually seems to have made it worse.

as far as another person. I have suspicions but nothing to give them any legitimacy

It seemed like a healthy marriage to me until 6 months ago. There definitely seems something odd. People do not just change like that, there is an external factor and you need to get to the bottom of it, although it is a delicate matter and the more you pry the more she will avoid the issue. You might want to consider definitely investigating her whereabouts, maybe even asking a trustworthy friend to do it.

ok but that seems counter productive. if she is being unfaithful and i catch her what then. i mean doesn’t that still mean she is unhappy and not in love with me. i don’t want her to be with me out of routine or habit i want her to want it like i do. i just don’t see how turning into a stalker changes anything

    I'm horrified!  I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000.  I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter.  I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change.  Now this!  I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.  I guess I have to pay...
