The girl that I have been emailing for the past three weeks and talking with on the phone and I had our first date on Thursday. Before I got home I already had another email and she was thanking me for dinner and said that she had a great time. We still were sending emails back and forth (been 2-3 a day between us) and I think that she is still interested in me.
I figured out our schedules and we are both really busy for the next few weeks. I outlined both of our schedules and said that the only time in the near future where we could get together (we had already planned after the first date to get together and cook together) was Tuesday. She asked me if I minded driving up to see her (1.5 hours). I told her that I would love to come up there again so she said Tuesday it is.
Here is an interesting thing to me. She figured out how my schedule works (it really isn't a hard thing to do but my ex never figured it out and she was with me for 3 straight years while I was on the same schedule) and said that I should be off on October 18 and she wanted to come to Culpeper to see me. We are planning to do something then as well. How cool is that?
So I was talking to one of my friends about this and he said that I am going to screw this up because we are planning too far down the road. Thing is that this woman and I are both planners and we love to plan stuff. She is planning these things just as much as I am.
None the less he has gotten me paranoid because I don't want to mess this up. Is it a good sign that she is making plans that far in advance? I am sure that she knows that I am very interested in her and I think that she is interested in me.
Is this all a good sign or am I getting my hopes up too much already?

Oh...I am planning another huge raft up in a few weekends and this one is going to be really cool! I may have to name this one the Pirates of the Potomac Raft up because there are a few of us that fly Ol' Roger that will be there! I hope the weather behaves like it did a few weeks ago.
meddle, I think that you and I both know that people in my profession don't have the greatest sence of morals when it comes to messing around on their wives or when it comes to messing with someone else's wife. Truely said...the behavior of some totally disgusts me. I seriously wonder if it is a reflection of people in general or some people begin to think that they are above the law when they put on the badge. None the less their behavior is pathetic.
I am so sorry to hear that your ex did that. I believe that my ex had an affair and I could look into it and find out but what is the point. It doesn't matter. She pulled the trigger, she left me. It is done. It is just a statement that our exs were not the people we thought that they were. It doesn't make us weak or bad people, it just shows that all people are vunerable when they care for someone else.
Not all cops are that way. I know some police officers that still live to a higher code and they truely live right. I aspire to do that and I would like to believe that I do.
Now that I've said that can you tell me wht the narcotics division in my town is protecting my x and the ho and doesn't give a crap about my kids? Just kidding. Wow this is a tough crowd, almost like saying you're an ambulance chasing divorce attorney on here. Personally I'd rather meet the attorney than the PD is this rinky dink little town.
