As I said already, I wish Obama luck and this term is make or break for the democrats. I will support him as the president of the United States and I hope he fixes the stuff that is broken. If not, I bet they stuff that was thrown at the Republicans for the last few years will be dumped right back on the Democrats next time.

The natural flow of unreegulated decisions seems to go the right direction the keating five decision didnt cause the banking derugation soon you were in the wrong decade.

You're probably right Soon ... and whenever the blatantly liberal media AND the Dems STOP blaming the GOP for EVERYTHING, maybe the GOP will start accepting the blame for the things that they actually ARE responsible for (which IS quite a bit of crap after all - GRANTED!)

Crap! There is plenty of nonsense that has happened - driven by BOTH parties in the government! "WE THE PEOPLE" have been bent over and porked, by damn near every president in office, for as far back in this country's history as you care to go. Maybe it's inherent in the position ... or maybe it's just unavoidable?
Either way, I say the election is over! Those that DIDN'T like the end results, need to quit crying over spilt milk and just hope like hell that all of the "sky is falling" predictions are wrong, and President Elect Obama, WITH the support of the American people (for their duly elected president!)is actually able to start fixing some of the things that are so obviously "broken" in this country.We can also hope that the constitution is not violated to an extent that can't be borne (but I guess that is covered under "the sky is falling" predictions ;) )... These problems WERE caused by members from BOTH sides of the street, pandering to their party's interests, instead of their constituents!
I think we need to start utilizing the "recall procedures" on a few elected officials and make them start worrying about pleasing US, like they SHOULD!
So ... we all need to start giving Obama a chance and hope for the best ... we just MIGHT be pleasantly surprised, shrug.
However, as we go through life we do meet individuals that never admit their mistakes and it is human weakness indeed.
