It's so simplistic it's ridiculous. Throw in a few breaks for the richest beer drinkers, like the bar owner subsidizes the gas they use to get to his bar, throws in some spa treatments for the wives to keep them happy while they drink, and about a hundred other variables and you may have something. I'm rolling my eyes.

My parents were school teachers (not overly paid), but they busted their asses off to build a great portfolio of rental properties. We, the children spent many nights sleeping on sleeping bags so they could paint, plumb, and fix these apts./houses during late night hours. Now, they are considered among the "rich". I don't think so...they still struggle at 79 and 82. Thank God for trust funds...or we would not see any of it. You can't just put a number figure on someone and say their rich, let's tax them more. I am on disability, privately paid for years, and don't expect handouts.

Sadly this is the first election that I have not voted in...I want truth...I have researched and it is not taxes or war that I am worried about it is the stuff that us as Americans have the right to know...I started researching recently and found a lot of stuff that would scare the hell out of people and we don't know about it as general public...I wont complain about what the president does or doesn't do in his term..i am not going to redicule or laugh at those that intrusted someone...I want generation x to come up and get these high points of office and start blowing the lids off of many things that we need to put our attention to...i support my government but through some of the stuff that i have found i dont trust them to have my best interest i mind....scary stuff out there guys...so crusify me for not voting but my heart just would not let me in this election....i wish the best for our country and yes we are all in this together and the sooner we realize that and drop democrat to republican and this wing and that wing and go searching for truth and find it and start holding politicians and other people in office accountable and calling them out on lies and cover-ups the more unified we can become :)

The analogy is still accurate in my opinion. The richest beer drinker can still go to another bar. That is what happens with capital investments and China has been the big winner for the past couple of decades. The stools and glasses can remain at the bar but the guy with all the money will go to where he gets the best deal.

OK I just want to know, where is the line. I want to get in line early for when the wealth is redistributed. Do we have to go to a forest or will Obama Hood be sending checks to our hoods.
