Now... I found out my ex was cheating from his work!!! :O he was fired and they went through his computer and found hundreds and hundreds of IM's from him to multiple women. My uncles and aunts worked there so they came a-running to my parents about it all.
I didn't start texting until about 6 months ago, but have gotten better at it. Although the next phone I get is going to have a full kepyboard.
You get so much more out of the tone of voice than you can from the written word!
E-mails and texts have caused allot of relationship problems from people misinterpreting the statements!
I have full blown conversations in text with the girlfriend.
When at work I cannot sit and talk on the phone, but I can pull the phone out and text a few hundred quick words while still discussing things with a coworker about what we are doing.
When not at work it is great too, making supper and helping the kids with homework, send a text and bam back to what I was doing without interupting the whole process.
I do like talking on the phone aswell, girlfriend has a damn sexy voice :) But sometimes texting is just easier and less hassle.
as for texting with a keypad, use the "Word" option or T9 i think it is called. don't even need to look at the screen, hit the button once for the letter you want and it usually recognizes the word you want and fills it in. After a bit you can do it blindfolded.
Would it be better that me and the girlfriend not communicate threw the day as we cannot talk over the phone compared to texting when we can?
