Yesterday, my girlfriend and I broke up after four years. I don't know how to continue without her. The prospect of a future family was my reason to work hard at a steady job, stay fit, keep motivated around the house. The long story short is that I begged her to put the work and energy that I put into building the foundation of a family together, and instead of saying she would meet me half way she decided I wasn't worth getting better for. The first two years we dated we lived carlessly and irresponsibly and I'm so hurt inside that when I asked her to show she loved me by putting effort into ourselves she gave up on me. After four years and all the love and literal blood and sweat I put forward for her, how could she feel i wasnt worth it? We were so happy and we loved each other! How is destroying our future together worth not working hard? I can't be this worthless to her

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

Just talk to her, listen to her. I don't feel it is over, yet. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Let her join you in the journey or let her go, its her choice not yours.
Love yourself for your strength, spirit, goals and dreams.
You need to be healthy for yourself. She needs to be healthy for herself not you.
IF she want to go don't stop her, don't beg her, don't guilt her. Doing any of these will show yourself as weak and needy.
At your age you should have a bucket list, life goal list, ambition list at least 100 items long, now write them down and write them down in a fashion like, "I will travel to France", no wants or needs.
Stop asking her to show you she loves you, stop telling her to give the same amount you are giving.
Let her come to you on her terms, you must live your life and be your own person, when you are yourself a woman will love you for you.
With or without her...you have a full life ahead of you. As GirlinCalif said, call her tomorrow and listen.
Big hugs, I know that it hurts like hell, Patti
