I am trying to go for no contact since she told me she is in love with her married lawyer. But she just posted something on my fb page and I know she will call soon. She does not want to lose my friendship. Remember she said "don't cut all contact with me because I might change my mind". I feel to weak and sick ( I have a medical condition) to not answer her call. I feel she will get mad and she will not call for a long time. So maybe I can answer and tell her the truth, that since she told me she loves another man I don't think I can be her friend, that I need time to think about this, but to me it is not acceptable to tell me that I should be her friend just in case she changes her mind. She has to make a choice. I could suggest to her to take time to think about it and then call me and I would see how I feel about her then.
Please don't generalize about all American women. You are wrong when you say we ALL want abusive relationships. Have you spoken to every woman in the United States? I think not.
To say that about women when there are many on here who have been physically, verbally, and/or emotionally abused show a total lack of any kind of tact and sensitivity.
Go read it and then come back and tell me if you think I'm still wrong.

Please enlighten me. What is tough about a bloke who beats up a woman or as you put it, "Slaps some sense into them" I see nothing tough about any man who beats on a woman. In fact, I hold them in utter contempt as moral and physical cowards.
Certainly, I am inclined to agree with you that many western women are attacted to the bad boy type. I know my ex wife was.

Stop your whining, pull on your big boy pants and make a stand. This woman is keeping you as an option simply because you are letting her do it to you.
