Well, you articulated the way I can feel some of the time.... but now I mostly feel peaceful and happy.... with rogue moments of sadness and fear mixed in. I know my kids and I will make it.... I know I can support them and raise them on my own- but I do feel lonely for a companion at times. Today- I am a bit frustrated about my former husband's craziness... but that will pass and I will remind myself how grateful I am....

wow, i don't think i've ever seen a thread such as this from you, but i did figure you used humor to get you through some of this. i'm really glad you posted this. i feel sadness, not sure of my future in some areas of my life. scared. i'm trying hard to discipline myself with the gym, eating habits. i'm pretty depressed (not caused by the break-up). counseling helps. glad i'm here so that i can share and get support. taking it one day at a time. xoxoxoxox

my kids are healthy. the bills are paid.
I got a good job.
I just am stuck missing my xgirl.
the funny thing is ..she was not that into me in the first place.

The most depressed I've ever been in my entire life.

Today I'm anxious as hell b/c kids are with their dad -- 2000 miles away and in one of his tantrums last week -- threatened to bring them into the middle of finances. I'm anxious for them. Apprehensive about the type of aftermath it may have for them an for parenting.

I'm sad -- because of what we should have but never could have together.

I'm mad at myself because it took so long for me to see what was really there all along.

I'm unsure -- where the hell this journey is taking me. I lost a lot of me along the way for 19 years.

I'm hopeful - for better days.

Finally happy, with a good man in my life, a career I enjoy, and an appreciation for who I am as a person and what I can do.

Better than I felt 7 months ago....

Worried, excited, thankful, blessed, anxious, bruised.... I run the gamet. Things are getting better, I'm moving forward.

This morning I watched the birds feeding and squirrels scampering on the campus grounds, I started naming off all the people I count as friends, people here, people at church, people at work....

Keep looking for the positive little smoker, it's there.

All those feelings are normal rman, it's best to work through all your different emotions and not try to run or hide from them.

I'm feeling at peace right now, I still have my days where I feel lost and scared like I don't know what the future holds. Just putting my trust in my faith and my myself and hoping for the best.
