Since my husband left, tonight is the first night I have been alone. My kids are at their cousins place. The realization that I no longer have my partner in life is killing me from the inside.
Despite his faults, I still love him with all of my heart. I know we cannot be together because he is working on sobriety and mental health. I'm working on finding my strength. There is no going back. I am so lonely and afraid of the unknown.

My best friend ruined my day with her immature, bitchy self. If she doesn't get her way, she has a tizzy fit. I told her weeks ago that I couildn't go to yard sales with her on 9/12 because i have a hair appointment. She wasn't happy. I also told her that I don't have any money to go to yard sales. I would suggest journaling. In it, you can write everything. No one has to see it but you. Write all your hurt, anger, frustration, fears, etc. Write in it often.
But... also write in it your hopes, dreams, plans for the future.
Think of this as a new beginning. You finally get to do the things YOU want to do. No more taking care of an alc0holic partner (that can be draining to you, and all encompassing). It's a relief, really.
Relax, take a hot bath, see what's on TV, read a book, make a nice dinner for yourself, blast some music, dance around the living room!!.
Soon you will enjoy having your "ME" time. You are not alone, you have family. Enjoy your night!!! :)
