Here is the scene. I am in the living room at my laptop on a coffee table. My dad is in his recliner watching T.V. My mom is on her desktop.
My Mom asks me where she can find a certain video on her computer. Of course, I explain youtube to her. She is enjoying herself watching videos on youtube and I was showing her how to search for stuff.
When my Mom is listening to music my Dad keeps turning the volume of the T.V. louder and louder. He has a set of headphones so I suggest numerous times for him to put his headphones on. No, he can't do that. He is just so damn ornery that he keeps on doing this. My Mom finally turns her computer off, without saying a word, and she leaves the room. He asked her what was going on. Apparently he thought that the music was coming from my computer and that was why he was acting like that. End of story I have now evacuated the living room and my Mom has left the living room as well.
What a asshole. I got so fed up with his crap like this the other day that I told him that he was an asshole. He wasn't like this until about 6 months ago and now he is trying to control everything. I realize that this is a sign of depression but he won't get help or listen to anything that is said or suggested to him.
He can act abrasive to me by he really needs to lay off my Mom. She has already put up with enough of his shit to last two lifetimes from the last time he went off the deepend. He is lucky that she ever took him back. If he continues this could get ugly.
Funny, but until 6 months ago my Dad and I were very close. He is not acting normal and I don't recognize him. He is just not himself anymore. He has turned into a HUGE PRICK!

I live with my folks. If I need privacy, I go watch a movie in my room. Of course, I pay rent so...they pretty much stay off my butt. I also do things to get away for a while. Living in the same house and always around each other can rack the nerves.
Just sayin
I am definitely moving back aboard the boat unless a new job carries me away from where I am now.
