Thanksgiving: Who's cooking and who's going out?

Thanksgiving is coming around the corner. My mom invited me over for Turkey on Friday next week and on Thanksgiving I am going to my mother in law's for dinner. My MIL cuts up all the dark meat and I hate it because I like my turkey to have a little bit of skin on it and they remove all the skin and make thanksgiving all healthy and junk. I really wish they would save a piece for me with the skin and bone in tact but I don't want to have to ask. My mom doesn't go through all that trouble to make thanksgiving healthy at least when I go to her house I know I will be able to get some skin on my turkey. I love turkey necks and legs and the gizzard and the tail. What is your favorite part of the turkey. I absolutely hate breast meat. My meat has got to be moist. I don't like dry turkey.

I'm doing the cooking like I do for every holiday. Just my mom, dad, sister and her girlfriend joining the 5 of us. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and not sure what else. I feel like going way out this year but not sure if I will. Alot will depend on funds. Thinking of cooked carrots, peas, corn or green beans. More food than will be needed but that is what black friday is for

I agree with #13, there is not enough Ativan on this planet to get me through a Thanksgiving with the entire family. DH and I and a couple of other family members are going to a local restaurant that puts on a huge T-day buffet that is always awesome. I like the stuffing better than the turkey itself, the more carbs the better.

I like my turkey moist with salt and gravy...mmm, and stuffing.

Thanksgiving Day the boyfriend and I are going to my mom and her boyfriend's house for a visit, then we're going to my dad's fiance's niece's place for dinner. I'm a little nervous about that...luckily they do make enough Klonopin for that, ha.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
