Thanksgiving: Who's cooking and who's going out?

Thanksgiving is coming around the corner. My mom invited me over for Turkey on Friday next week and on Thanksgiving I am going to my mother in law's for dinner. My MIL cuts up all the dark meat and I hate it because I like my turkey to have a little bit of skin on it and they remove all the skin and make thanksgiving all healthy and junk. I really wish they would save a piece for me with the skin and bone in tact but I don't want to have to ask. My mom doesn't go through all that trouble to make thanksgiving healthy at least when I go to her house I know I will be able to get some skin on my turkey. I love turkey necks and legs and the gizzard and the tail. What is your favorite part of the turkey. I absolutely hate breast meat. My meat has got to be moist. I don't like dry turkey.

i prefer all the fixins rather than the turkey itself. cheesy potatoes, broccoli and rice cassarole, corn, mashed potatoes...carbs carbs carbs

My first Thanksgiving off in three years, Yay!

I'm going to my sisters for the feast. I like to nibble on the skin while we're waiting for the Turkey to cool before we can carve it. I suppose it's my favorite part. Not very heart healthy though......

And the carbs, need I say more.......

We usually go to my husband's family but I am trying to find a way out of it..Damn It why couldn't I have gotten sick next week instead..thinking though I may still have it by then...

To much BS and drama and don't think they make Xanax strong enough to deal with that BS!!!

Oldest will be going to boyfriends parents for it. . Youngest and her bf is going to her sperm donors mothers and then on to CO to do some heavy duty shopping. Sam will be going to her parents in NC and considering her mother would die of a corenary if she found out her daughter was bi let alone found out girlfriend was 20 years older than Sam I guess me and the dogs will be doing chips and dip in celebration LMFAO

I love moist turkey breast, dunno why you think it has to be dry? I only eat breast meat off of any bird, turkey/chicken etc... - my mom is coming over and they are bringing the Turkey & they are having it smoked. Yummy! I am looking forward to mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, various pies - namely pecan, cornbread/jalapeno stuffing with pepperjack cheese on top - yummy... Oh it will be grand ;-)

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
