My digital camera won't work

A friend gave us a free digital camera. You can take pictures but you can't pull the pictures off the camera. I got a new perm and I wanted to show everyone on DS what my new perm looked like and I can't even show it to them because of this crap camera. I am so pissed right now. I won't be able to join the costume party because I won't have a costume and I wont have a camera to take the picture. I am sad and pissed at the same time. Anyone ever be both sad and pissed??

It is a digital camera and you don't have throw away film......

I am gonna see if my friend can get her money back......

I am tired of wasting my time on this cheap ass cheesy camera.....

Princess, a throw away camera is one you take pics with and turn the whole thing in to be developed............There IS a throw away "film" camera. There is not a digital that I know of. I think at this point it is best you stop trying since it is frustrating you and do as you said, try to return it.

What is the Name brand of it again???? you didnt say

l'm with awful nice on this one it really sounds like a film camera its sometimes called throw away because you use it once its always sealed, sometimes made of cardboard but the more expensives ones look really good, you send it off in the post usually to have the film inside the camera processed for you, they have no memory card slot and no screen on the back.

My computer says it's a JL2005C digital camera. I don't have the packaging for it anymore so I don't know the name brand. And it is supposed to be a digital camera and a web camera in one and the web camera doesn't even work. It takes a long time to load then it corrupts.....It's not a throw away camera it really is a crappy cheap digital camera.

lol ok l eat my words and bow to the princess it is a digital camera with no slot for a card or a screen its great to learn on or for kids yep sounds like its broken have you tried it as a webcam instead?

Yes that's the kind of digtal camera it is vicky......a starter one for kids to learn on......but it won't let me take the pics off so what good is it......I'd just rather see if my friend can get her money back for the dang thing.

I tried it as a web cam to but the programming for it loads slow and then when I do get it to load it corrupts.

I COULDNT GET MY PHOTOS OFF CORRECTLY WHEN I DIDNT GO AND OPEN IPHOTOS BEFORE I STARTED TO DOWNLOAD MY PICS, MAYBE THATS HELPFUL?

Princess... it does not have a good reputation online and has been cited as cheap... crap... etc... I'm not sure if a virus on your computer would interfere with it ... run a virus scan and see if it makes a difference... if not, get your friend to return it for a refund... not worth the hassle... take care ((hugs)) polar

There are digicams that don't have viewscreens or card slots.
They are cheap pieces of poop- yah time to get your friend's money back.

dont know if this has been mentioned. what setting have you got it on? memory card or camera memory? sometimes if its not on memory card it dont pick up the pics if you get me?

It doesn't have any settings.....it's a cheap piece of crap.....my friend said it was on sale and she can't get a refund and is just going to give it away to sacks auxillary hospital resale shop so they can sell the cheap piece of crap to someone else unsuspecting......

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
