I went there once after sleeping, or not getting out of bed or eating for 6 days. I told them this and that I was paranoid ect.. They did the same thing. I asked them to give me some sort of meds to keep me from being psychotic. They called my pdoc and explained the situation. He didn't call me the next day or anything.

They did send me a huge bill though. Hahaha hehehe I am never going to pay it.

So sorry. And people wonder why I hate doctors.

I am so sorry they sent you home. It sucks when the docs do not listen to you, or believe you when you tell them things are getting that bad.

Sometimes it does seem like if you're really suicidal they send you home. If you just feel really bad and talk about death they lock you in a room and have you admitted. I wish I understood the criteria they use!

I am insured and they did NOTHING! My husband works for our insurance......I am even more depressed and pissed that they did nothing but call my suicixal ideations anxiety and give me 1 mg of ativan then sent me home..........I am so paranoid I am nautious................I just had my husband make me food and take extra meds to try and get some type of relife..........but it's not really extra meds.....I was sick this morning and threw up my entire breakfast plus meds.......

i hate doc's. especially the one's who dont give a shit about you.

the ones that dont believe anything you say. when ya got extreme pain, but everything looks normal, they dont believe ya, thinkin you're only after pills.

Princess, is it possible that they think you are med-seeking? I know that your primary doc won't give you ativan, and the last time you went to the ER, they gave you a bit. Do you think it's possible they think you are just going to the ER for ativan? If they think that, that may be one reason they are not admitting you.

Princess, are you suicidal???? Maybe they didnt feel it was truly necessary to admit you. Didnt you just go to the hospital and see your doc, or am I remembering things incorrectly? Maybe they checked with your doc and he made that determination?

Try to find some ways to relax yourself tonight and get away from the immediate stress that can trigger your dysphoria. The computer usually makes me more anxious and angry so maybe try a warm bath and a good book with a good nights sleep. Hope you feel better tomorrow. Hugs

i hate when they do nothing. i got locked up once cause i said i was gonna hurt the ex dickhead, even tho i didnt have a plan, they locked me up anyway.

I understand your frustration especially in dysphoria, but you have to do some things for yourself also. It isnt only about the meds, benzos and hospital.....it is about your own coping skills and trying to lessen our exposure to triggers. You have had alot going on the last few days with your self esteem and paranoia with your step daughter. There are some things you can do to help calm yourself down. It is the dysphoria making you feel this way, not other people. Try to work with it sweetie and calm down. I have been there a gazillion times and I understand...........Hugs

One other thing, my doc can always be reached after hours if there is a possible need for admission.........why cant yours be reached after hours?
