I've had delusions before and I'm having them now, I'm really distressed by how real it feels. It feels like people are conspiring against me, even though I know it can't be true.
Is this level of paranoia normal for depressive episodes? Has anyone else experienced this?

challenging them that they 'can't be true' is a very good sign.
It's taken me a long time to cultivate that kind of awareness.
I don't know if you would call them bipolar delusions.
For me, I have schizoaffective disorder which has qualities of
both bipolar and schizophrenic type aspects.
I would consult your doctor if these paranoid thoughts increase.
I know they can be uncomfortable so you've done a good
job at taking care of yourself and coming on here to talk about them.
You really need to talk to your psychiatrist. Do you have an anti-psychotic to take?
Please hang onto this can and will get better with the right meds and you'll be okay again.... Big hug... xo
