Im in the process..just hit 30days since inital application...as soon as the denial comes(could be 60more days) i was told to contact a disability attorney..i hope i dont have to wait long.
Last time I applied i waited 3yrs for my hearing..was to be granted benefits except i was forced to work due to divorce..and i "became not disabled" even though employers stated i was on verge of being fired. I did get a huge chunk of back pay...but it payed my back bills from the divorce.
I'm waiting. Applied for SSI in July. Got approved this month and now am just waiting on STBX to get his paystubs in so they can send me back pay. STBX is being an ass and dragging his feet on the whole thing. I keep telling him I have to get them in by X date and he really could not care less.
