Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

They’re back and with a vengeance. I have a plan but I don’t want to tell my therapist or she’ll make me go back to the hospital. She will call me today and I will at least retell her the suicidal ideation is back. I’m holding on for my family. My little sister is expecting her first child in the next month or so and I don’t want to hurt her. My parents are probably just sick of me so the loss of me is just one less thing for them to worry about. I’m just so frustrated. I keep telling myself “it’s just a symptom of the illness”. Why can’t I just pass over the entire holiday season? This is the worst time of year for me

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Are you a Christian? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is your only Lord and Savior from your sins and your only way to the Father?
My strong faith has kept me alive. If I did not have Jesus Christ in my life I would have killed myself a long time ago. On top of Bipolar, I have Morgellons Disease. Ir's a horrific disease. Makes you want to die also.
I had suicidal ideation so strong so many times I was afraid of myself. I pray throughout every day to God for His help. I need Him. I know He loves me. I'm not saying I know all the answers but my joy is in my faith in Jesus Christ. I look forward to Eternal Life with none of any misery.
Give Jesus a chance to enter your life. Your heart will be so into Him that you will want to please Him with all you say, think, and do. It's a wonderful way to live.
I have disabilities also so I have numerous things that are serious health issues. But I will never give up on Jesus.
I've been there so many, many times. I could not stand being alive. All I wanted was to die. I would beg God to take me.
Emotional pain is no less painful than physical pain. Because of the seriousness of what I was going through I decided I had to tell my 3 sons and their wives because I could not see anyone. I could not go any place, answer my phone, write letters or anything I was paralyzed from the panic attacks. I was helpless. So my kids had to know so they would not think I did not care about them and my grandkids.
On Labor Day Sunday of 2016, they all pulled in my driveway at the same time to see me and give me support in any way they could. I felt so loved and cared for. We were together for about 3 hours and talked a whole lot. I was always afraid to go to the hospital when I was so close to killing myself because of the stigma. Well, they set me straight on that.
Bipolar is no different than if you have a kidney, liver, or any other disease. It's a brain disease with the brain's chemicals. The brain is an organ just like the others in our bodies. When it needs professional help it deserves it no less than any other organ.
