They’re back and with a vengeance. I have a plan but I don’t want to tell my therapist or she’ll make me go back to the hospital. She will call me today and I will at least retell her the suicidal ideation is back. I’m holding on for my family. My little sister is expecting her first child in the next month or so and I don’t want to hurt her. My parents are probably just sick of me so the loss of me is just one less thing for them to worry about. I’m just so frustrated. I keep telling myself “it’s just a symptom of the illness”. Why can’t I just pass over the entire holiday season? This is the worst time of year for me

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
If you figure out how to just pass over the entire holiday season, let me know. That's pretty high on my personal wish list, as well. As it is, I'm *just* polishing my therapy tools and battening the hatches for the annual onslaught. Sigh. . .

I don't know about you but "Suicidal" feelings come up big time for me when HALT is happening...Am I Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired? If yes is the answer my self-care is lagging and that needs to be more on top of things.
I encourage you to be honest with your therapist no matter what. If that means going back into the hospital so be it. I would find your harming yourself in a suicidal plan beyond upsetting to me and I encourage you to keep reaching out...none of this is easy Kisses (((hugs)))
I'm so glad that you're going to be honest with your therapist
When I've written that I take suicide off of the table as an option ... I've done that BUT that doesn't mean you don't still have the thoughts coming at you at times
So if I do and it's strong the thing I have to do then is 'what will help combat suicidal thinking, planning etc' and it's being totally honest with my mental health professionals no matter what I'm thinking about and recognizing when I need help
Gentle hug sweetie..... I think you are working so hard on you and I know it's hard..... You're brave.....xo
Many many times I've become my own worst enemy because ""I set myself up for failure""".... how...making unrealistic goals....sends me right to the rabbit hole! Today we did an exercise about what blocks us from reaching and obtaining what we want in our life...the breakthrough for me was the word "Goal"...so many times I've failed. I decided to change the goal word to "Gift" because by doing this, I remove the 'have to's, should, etc.' which lead to the hole...so now I'm Giving Myself Gifts and feeling much less pressure!
I also listen to meditations to remove negative thinking on utube...ya got to find what works for you kisses...it's a process as is putting one foot in front of the other as you do each day despite the pain in your head. Take care, ml
