valentine's breakfast of heart shaped everything - even bacon! toast, pancakes, waffles, bacon - did i say bacon? heart shaped! i even got heart shaped plates and cups for the smoothies for our valentine pleasure! all in a stunningly fantabulous bright pink!!

my sister had chickens that laid pink eggs! For real, I assure you. Also, green, blue and yellow.

I'll have pink heart-shaped pancakes and I'll bring the Vermont maple syrup from my sister's farm. (One thing we Vermonters happen to be good at!) It's past tapping season, but there's plenty to go around.

I just saw a sign, the other day, that posted, "$45 for a gallon of maple syrup", with shipping, it's an extra $15! WOW I never knew it was so expensive! Ours is $30/gallon (no profit - but wow!).

Hello, Friends! Today, today, is going to be a Good Day, Right?

yes spacekat today was a good day!! i started back teaching tonight after christmas and the term started very well indeed. we had a wonderful class.

night took a downturn so i am having a hot chocolate with marshmallows and a quick swing on the chandelier while i wait for the sleeping pill to kick in!

tomorrow is on fair warning to be good!!!

I had an alternately fabulously romantic and horribly stressful Valentines day, so now that I'm home with my computer I'm just curling up next to the fire and decompressing.

I brought a box of Thin Mints and a box of Ferraro Rocher chocolates so we have something sweet to munch on.

I hope today is a good day.

still awake for some strange reason - meds have not kicked in at all - so i'll help myself to some chocolates - thanks andrea and maybe do some more energetic chandelier swinging to wear myself out!

anyone up for a swim and some sunbathing on the beach?


maybe we could fire up the barbecue and do some salads with fresh breads?
