I'm hanging up sparkly balls and crystal glistening thingamajigs on the tree. Tinsel and white faerie lights. It looks beautiful.

I love that someone brought a toy train. We can put that around it on the silver snowflake embroidered Christmas tree skirt. I'll rev up Elvis's Christmas album, my favorite Christmas music, and have a glass of eggnog sans rum. Maybe I'll throw a shot of espresso in there and make an eggnog latte.

I could use the coffee, I'm still in my leopard print footie pajamas. There was just no compelling reason to put on clothes today and many compelling reasons to stay inside (shootings in San Bernadine and Pasadena, both of which are close to where I live). Active shooters on the loose? yeah, I'm staying inside in my footie pajamas with the Christmas tree, thanks.

Happy anniversary, BP lounge lizards, from your occasional monopolar interloper. I have so many friends on here that "Come unwind in the BP lounge" comes up often on my home feed - and I enjoy that title every time I see it! It feels like more than a year that I've been seeing that jolly phrase.
