I have cut up some big, juicy watermelon, added blueberries, green seedless grapes, sliced banana and pineapple with a dollop of greek yogurt. there are white rolls, whole wheat toast, soda bread, walnut bread and cracked black pepper crackers too. tea, coffee and chocolate also and of course the milkshake and smoothie machine is at the ready!!!

Jo, I am so clueless I thought it NEVER snowed in California! I knew it got cool at night and that San Fran could get pretty cool. I just had no idea it actually snowed though.

Nester - lol. A lot of people don't realize that it snows here. I'm up in northern CA up in the mountains (Tahoe area) so it snows here. But basically anywhere else south from us it doesn't snow lol.

thanks for the positive support. the reading went well. they were all so good and well received. was so glad when it was over but glad to that i didn't let them down.

crap here in so many ways but at least it is not snowing!

here's a big black forest gateaux with lots of candles , 22 anyway!!! + one for luck! and loads of sparkles and sprinkles in mad colours. the chandelier is waiting and the ball pool and pool are ready for use. the drinks of anyone's choice are all stocked up.

I think i'll just have some tea and toast with honey this morning and maybe a handful of blueberries. with a cup of rooibos tea. nobody can believe that i gave up ordinary tea so easily. I see there's some cake left over. i'll come back later for some of it.

Thank you for the cake again, Irish! I'm glad that you got to spend some time with me too :) we just hung out yesterday, had a nice breakfast and then went to our friends house last night and had some chicken parmesan, spaghetti, drinks and funfetti cake (my fave). And we just listened to some good music :) I'm the type where I'd much rather chill with friends, than go out and party lol.

I hope you have a lovely birthday Irish :) and I hope that you and Wolfgang have a wonderful time, it sounds like loads of fun!

Glad to hear you had an enjoyable night joneszy. Never heard of funfetti cake but as long as its cake I'm sure I would like it. Sounds like we have another birthday girl coming real soon.
