Not doing that great today I'm sorry to report. I had a rough day at work to be honest. The ECT treatments are helping me but they are affecting my memory and I've been forgetting things lately which makes work frustrating and life in general a bit frustrating. I'm home now hanging out with Edgar(my cat) so thats putting me in a better mood as well as spending some time on here with you all. Thanks for asking Irish, thats very thoughtful of you.

hi pagan, forgetting things sounds like an awful side effect. will it settle down? i am glad the sessions are helping though and glad you have your cat for company. i agree DS is great. I'm here since 2008 and i would be lost without it. I wrote an article recently for the Irish association of suicidology and recommended it as a resource for people with bipolar. the article will be published in their next newsletter. they had been asking me for a contribution for months so am glad i finally did it.

I am nursing my mouth again...tea bag where I had two teeth extracted this morning for ongoing dental/ortho work. Such fun! This is my year of painful surgery and procedure. Very tolling after awhile. So yeah, no food for me except mushy stuff...

Hi Irish, yes the doctors say that when I'm done with the ECT treatments that my memory should return fully. Thats good news but its tough dealing with this crap now. I am very thankful I have Edgar, he helps me a lot. That article you wrote sounds very interesting, is there any way we can read it when it gets published? Sensitive, sorry to hear about your painful mouth from the surgery, I hope the pain passes quick for you. Hugs to both you ladies.

sensitive, i'm sorry to hear about the dental work. ouch. as if you hadn't been through enough. I have a back tooth acting up on me at the moment and it is looking like a visit to the dentist tomorrow, I have been putting it off for months, i kept filling it with temporary filling but i think it is beyond that now and is bloody painful!
I'm struggling but not making any big decisions so i suppose that is an improvement?
this place really is a life saver....
