the vote on the right of everyone to marriage is taking place here today and i am trying to persuade myself out of my room to go vote. I have two more hours. I haven't left my room/house since tuesday and i really think i should vote.

they're also voting to reduce the age for presidency to 21yrs, it currently stands at 35. imagine we could have Jedward for president yet!! lol

i valled pdoc and made it out of the house to vote, went to the store for milk and bread and pancakes and am back in bed now so at least that is something. bloody pathetic.

ireland is the first country to vote to legalise same sex marriage. the yes vote won the day. what a historical moment!

irish, i'd say voting is a VERY productive day. you did that AND went to the store.....i'd say that's huge and not at all unproductive.

Yes!!! How I love scones irish! I'm making pasta with alfredo and chicken and peas and mushrooms and bacon. And remember we don't gain any weight here in the lounge! hahaha

When I stop by here on a Saturday night, I imagine more of a club with live jazz music, low lighting, Lots of people but in cozy sections on sofas or tables with groups of 3-8 people, you know? Mingling, talking, enjoying themselves....lots of noise but not overwhelming loud noise :)

Oh it's a party... 4000 and 4000 more to go!!!... I'll bring a hookah pipe with something fine to smoke!
