hi guys, i'm late today, missed breakfast. I had to leave wolfgang's place today and drive three hours home. I have a couple of hours break before i head out to teach my class which is about half an hour away. it should be good. it is the second last one before christmas. they're a great bunch of people.

got my check from the proceeds of the sale of my mother's house which is not huge given that it had to be divided by twelve but hey it is nice to have a little cushion for the first time in my life. i can afford christmas this year for the first time ever. yay! I can tell the charity people they can give someone else my coal this year! now that is going to feel good.

I brought a big fruit hamper for us all to share here in the lounge, managed to find delicious fresh cherries and ripe pears and seedless grapes alone with a few varieties of melon so we should be ok for a few days. I got loads. and I made a huge pot of mulled wine with lots of spices and juice so we can drink it for the night and not get too drunk! just nice and mellow. how's everyone's monday going?
