i just had a hot bath, the first in a week, and a big hot port! I feel great on behalf of you guys - sending all the better feeling on by osmosis! i feel clean at last! i also washed all my dishes. a burst of energy from nowhere and now i am wrecked! i brought hot honey and lemon drinks for everyone. hope they help!

What's with the PORT you guys? I've never even seen it in liquor stores but I'm dying to try it.

I'm making hot toddies for you guys while I'm making dinner. That'll make you feel better in no time. My mom use to make them for me when I was sick.

I think it is a mix of brandy and red wine aged ... it is lovely served at room temp but I love it hot! I actually bought a microwave at christmas, I call it my 'port heater' which also happens to serve other functions! it takes people ages to guess what i am talking about!! ruby port is delicious - tawny port - not so nice - you can pay fortunes for bottles of old port! but why would you???

toasted ham and cheese sandwiches and home made vegetable soup - my go to meal when i'm feeling under the weather! followed by hot apple crumble and custard. hope you guys are able to enjoy it!!
