OMG!!!!!!!! I wanted to die (and that's not the BP talking). It was so damn painful for over a week. I tried not to swallow. Can't be done.

I had my tonsils out when I was 30 and BOY WAS IT PAINFUL!!! I was on liquid morphine for a week, I think, and then the sutures in my throat came undone and they had to cauterize (Yikes!) the tissue. I woke up in my boyfriends bed and spewed blood everywhere.
