A new supermarket opened in my neighborhood and almost the entire thing is refrigerator cases....

I guess nobody cooks from scratch anymore!

Dobes, not everyone in CA is a health nut lol. I lived there my whole life until about 3 yrs ago...... Ok, I did eat a lot healthier when I lived there lol. But I did also eat junk food.

I don't cook too often (I like baking better) but when I do cook, I sometimes do it from scratch :)

Hmm...... You didn't miss too much. We just ate breakfast, sometimes lunch, dinner. OH! We had Crayola crayons and drew on the walls! And had glitter!

ok for dinner we can have roast beef with mashed carrots & parsnips, mashed potatoes, turnip, gravy followed by queen of puddings for dessert ( a hot dessert made with a base of bread crumbs covered with an egg custard filling a jam lined dish and baked in the oven then a layer of fruit and jam covered in meringue and baked until golden brown in the oven, served with ice-cream) any takers?
