Well I am waiting on my ssi hearing and if he kicked me out my parents won't bail me out and let me stay there they already told me this. He shouldn't take any of that money it's not even his. I won't have too long before my loan money from school runs out if I were living on my own and I have a daughter yes she would probably be taken away for failure to being able to support her due to bipolar. He said if I don't pay the house payment and car payment with my loan money then we won't have a house or a car and will be homeless because he says he can't afford to pay them.

Do you think he's lying about not being able to pay the bills or can he but he wants you to pay half? is he being unfair about it?

He's been paying the bills so far but barely. He gets 40 hours. He claims we are behind on our bills and that's why he can't keep up. I don't understand. I do think he is lying because so far the bank hasn't called to posses the car or the house and if we were behind don't you think they'd call. I do believe he's being unfair. He told me that after my books and food money is paid for he's only gonna give me 3 or 400 dollars to do with as I choose and is forcing me to spend the rest of it on his bills. I feel I am being taken advantage of. What happens if he files for divorce in the near future and I get stuck with my tuition bill that he spent. Then can I sue him and take him to court for not helping me pay it back?

Having been in ultimatum marital situations I would tend to suggest packing up and leaving and avoiding arrest, incarceration and restraining order later. Do the best you can. I can't say that this is the best thing to do but it would work for me.

l was wondering about your debt it will need paying back did he say he would pay it when you graduate because its in your name if he chooses not to the debts all yours so you really need to think about whether you stay or leave he could be leaving you with a debt of thousands it is a cheaper loan than a bank for the first year but after that no way.

If you don't return to school, won't you have to begin to repay your school debt? I might be missing something here however. Can't he get another job to help pay off the debt? I have been working 60 hour weeks when I can get the overtime to pay back ours. Tell your husband you have a friend with BP that is doing this...and I am a woman. ha ha ha.

Oh, marrital ultimatums can work out, or backfire. I have done it, and it did work. However, I risked it not working. I was desperate and I and I was willing to take the risk.

He's talked about a second job before. The only reason he hasn't done it is because he said he would never ever see me then if he did.

I am probably very confused about your inference to your school loans because I am only used to my kids borrowing only what they need to pay for tuition and books. If you have borrowed in excess of that, isnt the rest meant to help pay your living expenses while in school? Wouldnt this include your house payment and car payment? What else would you do with the remainder if not pay your bills? Are you responsible for paying "other" bills that will go unpaid is he uses the money for house payment and car payment? Sorry, I just dont get it I guess. xo

No I am to pay the taxes, the house payments and the car payments even if they get paid in advance i am still to pay them. He is also making me pay for shots for his new kitten. Now granted. If he has a cat. shouldn't that be his responsibility?

With that kind of money coming in and a diploma in your future, I would say to heck with it and get me my own place, and pay the rent up so that you will know that you have a place that no one can kick you out of. That money is for gas and stuff to get u back and forth to school, not to pay someone else's bills. But then again you know that. It sounds to me that your husband may have some control issue's and maybe that is what needs to be addressed. May you should make a list, and I do not mean one for Santa, but weigh out the pro's and con's of being with this man. Divorce is a different word, but not a bad one. If he is only loving you for what your future may hold, then maybe you can find someone who will love you for who you are today. Sorry, I am sure this is not the answer you were looking for.
