Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Every day when I walk into work.... my manager or another manager will ask me in an erie tone...
"How are you TODAYYYYY?"
HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT?
I couldnt so I went on med leave.
I let people know because I don't want to feel I have a problem with them when I'm depressed.
Surprisingly, a few people shared they were bipolar with me and/or suffered with moderate to severe depression and/or anxiety disorders. Although at times I feel completely alone, I'm not.
i've been warned against it so many times it will never happen. i don't really see the point? too much ignorance. even if some seem supportive initially, seems like it will always backfire eventually. gives them ammo to use whenever they need a scapegoat.
I am allowed up to 12 weeks of intermitten missed days. So my A** is covered.
Some employees know, those that don't know are afraid of me. Hehehe But all in all, It doesn't affect my job as of now.
