I almost got myself arrested this morng. I was walking my dog and there was another lady walking her dog and she just so happened to be talking to a policeman in his car. I was walking past and yes I should of kept my mouth shut but I didnt. I kind of said that f******* cops f****** suck in this time all they do it sit in their car and ride around and do nothing. Now the cop heard me say that and said what did you say mamn he said to me. I said you heard me. I told the cop there are alot of better things that need to be done in town than sit and B.S. Now I think he got ticked off at me. Ok mamn he said what is your problem. I told im that people get away with to many things in this town and should be put away for it and he said to me name some things. So I did and said ok I will look into them mamn he said to me in the maen time keep your mouth shut the cop told me or I will bring you in. How do you like those apples. I cant even speak my mind with out getting yelled at. Cops do SUCK I am sorry.......... They do nothing .........

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

This should be a supportive environment. Even if we disagree on things, we dont need to put people down or dehumanize them.
People are coming HERE for help. We all need understanding, even if we disagree with each other.
cops might freak me out (more about the gun on the hip), but i sure as f*ck couldn't do their job.
"I am a friendly caring compasionate person. I get along with just about anyone."
I think you should either change your attitude or change your profile. You can't have it both ways.
I am going to go by your profile and think that you haven't been in such a good place today at all, especially since you now find yourself in tears, unable to stop crying.
I am sure that you are much happier when you feel like the 'real' you -- friendly, caring, and compassionate and able to get along with just about anyone.
I'm sorry that today is filled with anger and sadness for you.
I hope your chems do a flip very soon and that you're feeling more like yourself when you're doing well!!!
Wishing you a better tomorrow!!!!

Now on that note, in the state, well town, that I live, have lived in the last 20 years, the cops 90% of them, are really good. They care, they do the job they are supposed to do, they help and they do go after the ppl that do wrong, no matter name, status or anything. Now when I moved here and was in the process of divorcing my ex, if it weren't for these cops, I probably wouldn't be here now. They watched my house, my work, my children's school and daycare like a hawk because of the threats made to us by him. Any vehicle in my drive got their plates ran, the cop came to my door and asked if it was okay for them to be there, came in my house (with my permission) and made sure everything was okay.
When my then soon to be ex was back here in town for court, one cop was parked near my home at all times, or near my work, shoot I have had them come in my home for years either before their shift or after just for coffee and to BS. Had 7 police officers stand up for me in court. And it isn't just me they watch out for or help. And they do their job and go after criminals. Like I said 90% in this town are good cops. For that I am thankful.
Yes there are good and bad, but there are good and bad in every single aspect of life. When I speak to other's I do it with respect, the way I was taught and I do my very best to walk away when S*** comes out of their mouths, now don't always, depends on what is going on inside my head on that day to be honest and sometimes it overloads my mouth. I admit it, but ya all we can do is our best.
You don't know where that officer had been before he encountered you. Maybe he was at the end of his shift; maybe he had just finished a call for domestic violence; there are so many things you don't know about this situation.
These people are dedicated and caring. Yes, some are rotten, but 99 percent are there to serve the public. Even the ones with smart mouths who don't know what's gone on behind the scenes.
It sounds like there's more than just bi-polar at work here; maybe just a good old-fashioned misconception and prejudice against a group of people you really don't understand. I'll bet you anything that officer is just as frustrated as you are that, for whatever reason, he and his department aren't able to do more to protect you...yes YOU. Despite your abuse, if you ever needed help, that man would be there for you.
My reason for writing this reply is not to belittle whatever experiences you have had, or to belittle you, but to give you a different perspective of a group of people that most civilians never get the chance to understand.
Be blessed
My brother in law was always soft spoken and a good kid growing up. He lost all his friends after joining the police force and was ostracized at church. He paid a price for being the good guy.
It goes both ways.
We call know there's good and bad in every walk of life... But if I were in a crisis due to someone wanting to do me harm the first thing I'd think of doing is calling 911...
As in many positions there's an imbalance of power so if it's misused or abused it can do a lot of damage..
I've known a couple of cops on a personal level and they were great people..
I don't see stopping to talk to someone as a big deal either.. I'm sure if he was called to do a job he would.. We all take breaks on the job...why shouldn't he?..
I'm not trying to beat you up.. I can see you're in a bad place right now.. I'm sorry you're hurting.. I was just offering my thoughts on the post..
I hope you're feeling better soon...x
