It actually started last night but I just woke with pretty intense anxiety/panic. I have that breathing thing that it seems irregular or shallow and I am certainly hyper aware of it. I was feeling relatively well yesterday but now I'm a complete mess. I'm a 43 year old male and I've suffered with anxiety/panic for over 20 years off and on. I have the tunnel vision, lightheadedness and intrusive thoughts. This is just awful. I'm a small business owner and I just can't even function. I see a psychiatrist but we are treating with Xanax as I have developed a sensitivity to ssri type medications. Trust me, I've been on them all...I feel so bad for those of you that are experiencing similar problems. I am having a very hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel these days

Just a thought, is it worth you having a lung function test? I have been diagnosed with lung problems and the breathlessness from that causes panic. Hope it’s not that for you and you find something that helps.
