Did you experience similar effects like me?
It takes 3-4 weeks to start feeling all the benefits of Zoloft. It's hard to be patient, but you've done one week already, so just a couple more weeks until you feel all the "good" parts of the medicine. It is not an immediate effect, such as Xanax is.
Stick with it. Like I said in your other post, my family member calls Zoloft her "life saver" (her words) and it completely took away all of her panic and anxiety. She is on 100 mgs daily. My psychiatrist prescribes up to 500 (five hundred) milligrams a day.
I think your body is just getting adjusted to it. Drink lots of water each day - important.
If side effects are truly troubling, call your doctor on Monday and leave a message.
Good luck. You are doing great!
I think eventually they will have you up the dosage, but that is up to your doctor's plan.
Drink plenty of water (especially when you take the tablet), keep your mind busy with other productive things. In other words, keep busy and go through your day despite any uncomfortable sensations. The more we dwell on if we are feeling this or feeling that, the more it seems magnified. Take the dose and go about your day.
I know it's tough during the adjustment period, but hang in there. You will be glad that you did.
Also, do breathing exercises to help you loosen up tightened muscles.
You can do this!
Did it get better or did you have to go on another med?
