How many years of psychotherapy does it take to work past the confusion of psychosis? After 40+ years of psychotherapy to help me recover from the side-effects of surviving child sex trafficking, I am beginning to think that goal of a confusion free life is *simply* unattainable. Come to think about it, psychotherapists might even be the ones who put that unattainability on my radar. Life gets messy. Confusion is inevitable. My base conditioning from the kiddie whorehouses will always be with me, but I don't need to let ^it^ run my life.
I'm feeling vestiges of peace in accepting that confusion lately. I *just* have to puzzle my way through my symptoms of the day. The sooner begun, the sooner done. With the peaceful acceptance, I find that I can efficiently reach for my psychotherapy toolbox without the time-consuming agony of, "Why me? Why now? Why ever?"
I'm also a bit worried that the peace is just a red flag for yet another psychotic break. I have never felt more *certain* than I did in the midst of my psychotic breaks.
Thoughts? Opines? Reality checks? Non-sequitars?

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
