Hello to all. I am a new member who just joined 1/26/2018. A little bit about me i am 62 years old and living in South Jersey. I have been dealing with anxiety for some years now as always have been an anxious person in general. The last say 4/5 years as have lost some really good and close friends and some others i had to let some others go as simple toxic as well as phonies and users that they have turned out. No real family as most are decesed so the circel of people i once had has really dwindled one to just a few.
Not working as well due to some medical conditions so had to go on disability, nothing life threathing but still has prevented me from doing a 40 hour a week job. There are too many days where i have too much time on my hands and my mind wonders which causes me to have anxiety.I do try and keep busy and active with some interest and hobbies as not to dwell on myself but many times it's hard. Times i get a thought in my head and then it spirles to where it really does a number on me. I feel not interacting with people like i had in the past for years get's me to concentrate on myself way to much then i like. I like to look at life as the glass being half full and things to be grateful for but many days it's a channelge.
If anyone that reads this cares to respond and perhaps would like to chat on the phone to share stories, lend support and make a new friend i welcome all and thanks for those that reach out.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!
