Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. For what it's worth
The in-patient stays which I cooperated with really did help me to stabilize and establish a program to help me toward a more healthy lifestyle. My psychoses(pl) were/are far more dangerous than any flu bug. I do, however, wonder if my strictly personal psychoses(pl) are meaner than the collective germaphobic psychoses(pl) of Coronaville. At least *I know* that I am bat shit crazy. Is there anything more dangerous than nutjobs in denial with license to declare marshal law?
Gentle support while you decide which path is best for you, just for today.
Best wishes.
I am awful at journaling. What really helps me is guided journals. You can find them on amazon fairly cheap. Just type in anxiety journal. These journals guide your thinking patterns and behaviors.
Also, set aside time if you can and let your family know this is your time for health and relaxation. Find something you like to do. Art, meditation, hot bath, music or what ever relaxes you. I use insight timer for guided meditations related to anxiety and depression. There is a free version of this App.
Another helpful technique is to set aside an hour each day for worry. Write down as many things that you can that make you anxious during this time. Then later go back and see how to resolve or challenge those thoughts. Also you can get a lot of support here at DS. Hope you feel better soon.
