Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I want to start by saying I'm really sorry if I post on here too much. I dont want to take away any space from other people who are doing worse than me but lately this has been my only option. It's been so hard to measure if I'm feeling okay again because every time I feel okay I get worse. My anxiety has been testing me today and tonight (technically it's 2:30am) it's pretty bad. Lately it just feels like everything is fighting against me, mostly my brain though. I miss the times when I actually lived and enjoyed things rather than just trying to get through each hour. I'm hoping that once my dog gets fixed in a couple days and we get into our new recovery routine I will be able to calm down a bit but I doubt it. It feels like there's so much im anxious about like even going outside has been incredibly difficult. I have a very bad fear of wasps and they're just everywhere outside. I have to fight myself just to take my dog out and every time I'm dragging him and running for my life (I am highly allergic to them) I feel bad for doing it but I just can't stand there when they're close to me I have to run. After he's fixed I can't just run with him because he needs to take it easy. So I'm probably gonna have to ask for help from people who definitely don't want to help and I have no idea where he's even gonna stay after being fixed I don't have any good places to contain him. And my mom's boyfriend who none of us like is coming back to live with us the end of this month. He's caused some pretty big problems in the family but he has no where else to go I guess. I don't hate him but I get very anxious when he's here and I just don't think I can handle this now. I have been so understimulated lately I feel like I'm losing my mind. I feel like I'm just stuck in a lot of repetitive mindsets and actions that I'm using to cope but it's just making me feel crazy and very anxious. I don't know what else to do but to come on here. I used to vent on a vent account on Instagram but ive been taking a very long break from there because it was making anxious. Again im sorry for how long this is I don't know how much sense it makes. Tonight has just been a long night and I can't wait til I can finally live again and not just survive.

I've lost count of how many dogs I've used in my formal psychotherapy. The hardest part of bonding deeply with my therapy dogs is that I keep out-living them. Their illnesses and end-of-life stages are rough, but I stand by my belief that there is powerful healing mojo in seeing them through.
I use cages for training and nursing.
Keep venting, Frog. Vent freely. Vent often.
Here's to hoping the maskites return our civil liberties before our repressed energies reach volcanic pressures.
Post-surgical recovery might be a good time to give Lake such a safe place, especially if there are other dogs in the house. Maybe. . . Never forget that the bond between you and Lake is unlike any other bond in the world. I have yet to have two therapy dogs who were the same.
Continued support while you and Lake see one another through the upcoming challenges. Keep it personal.
