Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So husband lets dogs out. Dog eats something dumb. He brings him in and crates him, of course dog doesn't do what he needs to outside. When I take out dogs and complain if they're bad husband yells at me "stop complaining about dogs what's the big deal". So I said now you know what i go thru. Which somehow led to a blowup with him calling me all sorts of names and slamming his office door. This is first thing in the morning. Me still not feeling well. I can't go to church which is my peaceful place, due to not feeling well plus it being COVID (because if it was just a cold I probably could get there).
im in my room crying. I have so much to worry about and he makes everything worse.

It's bedtime but I heated up some coffee to take my pills with and made a fresh pot so I can have some as soon as I wake up tomorrow a.m. I've been on a roll for 2 days with cleaning and getting other stuff done. I bought a new cell phone about a week ago and I've been having some issues. I stopped at Verizon and a nice young man jumped in to help. As a result, I was able to get an iced...

What do you feel like you HAVE to worry about?
And yes I do need to just rest. I actually haven’t done enough of it even being stuck in house.
So I went into this drained I suppose that’s also why I’m just exhausted right now.
Even when you do not feel good, especially when you are tired, fatigued, exhausted, depressed, and you know you're feeling the ragged edge of 'speaking feelings', take the step back. Your body and brain will recover faster and easier when you do this.
Instead of fighting being ill, embrace it, allow yourself to feel the need to rest, to take it easy, no matter what.
The good things in that you helped the dog get better, you had the visit with the kids, and the excitement of doing meals, cleaning, and being up longer to enjoy the company of the kids.
The more you act '...', the return act from hubs is going to be the same. The dogs are reacting to the atmosphere within, and you are the primary care giver. Take care of your thoughts, your words, your actions to help yourself heal and recover quietly and completely.
It takes two to argue, to fight, to be mean. One word, one act of kindness towards your self can change the day for the dogs to be comfortable, to let their normal routine be enough.
Yes, exhaustion is normal after the holidays, However, it's possible to enjoy the exhaustion as a success of time well spent.
I don’t know if any of you remember my post when I wrote that my two kids had a fight on New Year’s Eve? Well I can’t seem to get this out of my head, even though my son apologized to everyone. They were fine afterwards. It’s just haunting me. Maybe because it was in front of their significant others. I don’t know. I actually have had bad dreams and I know it’s because I can’t move on from it.
My husband and I actually had a civilized conversation about the fight the kids had. He said there was no more we should have done as son apologized to everyone and daughter and son moved on right away. Like we can’t dwell on it with them.
But I cannot get beyond it at all.
One of my huge things right now
the empty nest syndrome and divorce have been solid running buddies for several generations now. maybe it's time to dump the chump?
steadying support while you decide what is right for you.
I know the worry and fear with them is wrong and will solve nothing. And I think I may have been doing slightly better. But this just really threw me.
I think it’s also because there is nothing I can do about it right now. And I am the worst in those situations
I know it happens to families and siblings and people all the time. This one just hurt me for some reason.
I'm saying don't judge your worry and fear as right or wrong. It's neither right nor wrong. It's just part of the distorted thinking that anxiety brings.
My worry is obsessive. I know that. It wears me out.
I am truly exhausted
