Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I trying to not focus on pain BUT I still have pinched nerves. I started yoga for sciatica pain which is fine and my job has a free program for like virtual PT and you do exercise tailored to you pain or issues. You also talk to physical therapist and it gets adjusted as needed.
I have managed to get it better but still not great. But I was happy with progress.
Today I walked to get breakfast and on way back I was crossing crosswalk when it was my turn I saw the truck and was like saying I need to cross quickly so they can go and looked down and up and he was about to fucking hit me! My breath stopped and technically I was not hit but tapped I guess. I screamed because this could of been so much worse. But I told him it's my turn to go hit yours pointing to the crosswalk sign! The issue is I have pinched nerves so now had to jerk my whole body to not be hit by this big ass truck! He over there sorry I didn't see you. I was so upset I cried and stormed off to hotel!
Then I have issues with work a file that didn't save that's another problem. It was suppose to be a more relaxed work at hotel day now I just ready to go home!

So I went today to pick up the images of my heart to bring for the second opinion, and they said that they would be at the desk. They assured me that they would be there and that they would be open until 5 PM. I bypassed their stupid AI receptionist that gets everything wrong, and talked to the medical records person, and purposefully spoke to her to make sure we were on the same page, since I...

Now two years later, I am so much better. I did a whole year in PT. I still have some sciatica but I don't have the nerve pain shooting down my thigh like I did for months and months.
There are you tube videos to help with sciatica. All of them have helped me but I am not consistent. Another thing that helped me is the T-ShellZ device for either the hip or the leg. I bought both because I injured myself in both hips soft tissue and then had the pain down the leg. When the nerve pain was terrible, my PT told me to get a Tens Unit. I used that for 30 minutes to an hour every evening. I saw an inexpensive Tens Unit at Walgreens the other day but I originally bought a much more expensive unit on Amazon and still occasionally use it now. The nerve pain is so much better that I mostly use Ice or the T-ShellZ. And I also have several different pads for the office chair to supposedly help the sciatica pain. None of them work for long or all the time unfortunately but so much better than nothing. I give you these ideas in case any of them help. Lidocaine patches the big ones or two of the small ones really work well for me.
Pain really stops our brain from thinking clearly. When I am having bad pain even now, my brain feels so foggy. I am sending warm wishes, hugs, and prayers that your pain level dies down and you can make it through the next few weeks.
