Deep breathing is a good one. It really helps relax you.

Yes playing the guitar and listening to it is very soothing. I too write out my feelings. It helps to put everything into perspective. What your thinking and how your feeling. That's very sweet that we all give you awesome advice. That's what we're all here for. And yes there are some beautiful and wonderful people on the DS. I know you love your guitar. That's awesome!!!
Thanks for your comment. Italianmomma4ever
I was wondering if you write your own songs.
Do some weight training.
Try to get the proper sleep. That's a tough one for me.
Drink lots of water.
I guess I could go on and on. Lol.
I looked up cold therapy. You must be doing that for after your surgery. I read it helps a lot!!!!! Good luck my friend. Get well.
I to try to distract myself when I start thinking crazy thoughts or start to feel some anxiety coming on. I love to do deep breathing exercises. I like to meditate. And everyday I take the dog for a walk. It feels good to get some fresh air and just enjoy the beautiful nature. Thanks for your great comment. Enjoy the day. Italianmomma4ever
Thought you said meditation, but you said medication. I say whatever works for you go for it. I'm sure the medication helps you out at times of need. Take good care my friend. Italianmomma4ever
It's very nice to meet you. Yes I to love to meditate. It's just something about it that helps me stay calm and focused. Distraction is another one that is good. I will do that when I'm starting to think crazy thoughts or feel some anxiety coming on. I never heard or tried L-the anine. What is it? And how does it help? Thanks for your comment. If I can suggest yoga that's another one I find very helpful. Italianmomma4ever
I sent you a friend request.❤️
Music is one of the tools I use when the words get all neon lighting in my mind and I need distraction with release. I dance to the music. When I'm in a
place where quiet is required, I think of snoopy dancing and that works. Guitar playing is soothing, too.
Movement is my go-to to distract - whether it is counting even breaths, tapping finger or toe, walking, or 'doing'.
Good ideas from everyone!
