The doctors know best and if they said things are moving the way they should then that is good.

I am happy to hear that he is doing better than was he last Feb, improvement is always good.

He continues to be in my daily prayers.

A bit rough today I understand. Did not see him. But I guess from what I have read and been told, this is expected at day +7?????

It will get better quickly, this is the start if the crummy days, but they only last a short while, in the grand scheme of things.

God, I pray you are right and he does as well as Tony. My mother is so worried. I think of you guys a lot. Told my brother I was following your story and he even asked how he was doing.

Really struggling today. Mouth sores, can't eat, sleepy from meds including morphine tonight so he can rest. Also on I've fluids for nutrients. Is this all normal for one week out?

I'm waiting for a donor for my SCT so I can't provide insight. But praying for your brother. I hope he turns a corner soon. I hope someone here can comment.

Yes this is very normal for the week after. Day 7-12 were the worst for tony in regards to eating and throat pain. Sometimes Bad nausea every other day too.
Are nupagen shots part of his treatment protocol? If so his counts will come back quicker and the mouth pain and sores, along w most of the other unbearables will resolve soon too. For us, knowing to expect these things helped us a bit too.
Tell him to stay strong and rest as much as possible while he feels bad, but also to try to eat and move around a bit when he feels like he can. The more nutrition and exercise he gets, the quicker we were told the cells engraft

Thanks. Don't know what he is being given but he did ride the bike for 10 minutes today and fever down. Hoping he will feel better in a few days.
Think of you all also. Hope all continues to move forward for all of you.
