Well:
It's been a few weeks, that I've stopped in. I knew from the forwardness of DS, stating that "DS" was going to change. Signing in today, started with making a new password, I see if it is one that will stick the next time I stop by. I see I have a few friends 'MID'(Missing In Dementia), so I guess just like life, things are changing and moving on. I will say {Hi] for anyone that is still here or any new comers that happen to read this. I hope all is well for those I see have passed from friends list. Now if I can figure out how this program works, I may be back or maybe I'll just close out. It's all up too DS's system and how difficult it is to figure out.
Has anyone noticed a "User's Manual, for this new set up?
This upgrade is a train-wreck. People can't navigate the site or find their friends, and these are people who NEED their friends and support groups to help them get through their challenges. You have no idea the harm you are causing to who knows how many people. ROLL IT BACK OR MAKE IT WORK!!!
This new site is okay. I don't know if I like it, at this point it's Okay. It's going to take some getting use to. It's all right. I found all my "stuff".
I see you can no longer share youtube links or links to medical articles in other peoples thread,, only in your own thread. This is not an upgrade. This is a big downgrade to functionality. This site redesign is a buggy nightmare and I still have never been able to reclaim my 6yr old account (Puffy Chestnut). I used to love this site, but now I hate it.
I miss my old stuff .I'm GrassisGreen and have been a member since 2008.I can't log in under my username and sending a forgotten password request does nothing .It doesn't show up in my email.However the notifications that my friends are posting journals do .Please add me to the list of members who can't sign in ...thankyou
I am not impressed with this site at all... I have stopped writing journals since they appear in newsfeed and are viewed by all not just friends... this was a support site not a social media site like facebook and twitter.... the whole concept seems to have been lost on the new face of DS.... not sure what the future holds....
For anyone who could not sign in under their old account, just click on "forgot my password", then DS will send an email for a password reset. That's all I had to do and I was able to still have my old account with my email. It took me a second to find my messages.
It is just something we need to get used to. I am ok with it. Going to check it out :)
I absolutely do not like your new web site design. It is too hard to use. Sorry, I won't be back and that makes me very sad because I used to reallu like this site.
I am very sorry that you had to change DS it was working well just slow sometimes but it was so easy especially for people like me that are older I can't keep up with the newer things change could be quite frustrating hope you can get a little better wish you could go back to the old DS .
Hi, I am not really feeling this site.Maybe it will become more user friendly as we go along, but right now this is like a foreign site and unfortunately I feel like a total foreigner here. It took me almost 1/2 hour to log in and to navigate around it is taken me forever. This is not fun and relaxing, this is torture. I hope it gets better soon.
I hate it. HATE IT! Did anyone stop to think how many people rely on DS and that a complete rebuild would be devastating? Where's the Fword thread? Where is crisis? I am sobbing. This is horrible!

i did have over 100 friends now i have 37 how do i get my friends back

Like the old ds better....pity, so many old users aren't happy, not being able to log in and now start new page.....big thanks

I, too, am upset about the changes. I used to find great comfort reading the posts but I can't find them now! I don't like this. :(
